Hi, I’m Kristina. I’m a certified birth doula and photographer based in Seattle, supporting families across North & Eastern King County and Snohomish County. My approach is anything but cookie-cutter—because birth isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your experience shouldn’t be either.
I came to this work through a deep-rooted passion for reproductive support and justice. Growing up with a mom who navigated healthcare with an accent and cultural differences showed me just how vital it is to have someone in your corner—someone who sees you, hears you, and helps you advocate for the experience you deserve. That someone is who I aim to be for every client I work with.
Whether I’m offering hands-on labor support, guiding your partner through the process, or capturing raw, honest birth photos you’ll actually want to revisit, my focus is always the same: helping you feel calm, confident, and fully supported in one of life’s most transformational moments.
Outside of birth work, I’m a garden-loving, board-game-playing, loud-water-bottle-carrying cat mom who embraces Seattle’s rainy seasons (kind of). I believe in grace, silliness, curiosity, and that birth should be real—not performative.
If you're looking for a doula who brings both grounded presence and honest connection, I’d love to meet you.
"I can’t imagine having gone through the childbirth experience without a doula, and I am so glad ours was Kristina! She stuck by our side for over 24 hours in a physically/emotionally taxing and complicated labor/delivery. Whenever my brain was stuck in “what I’m doing isn’t working” and couldn’t move into troubleshooting and solutioning, Kristina was especially helpful with 1) recognizing this and 2) prompting a plethora of things to do. We did a bath, TENS, rebozo, massage, countless position changes with various equipment (pre- and in bed with an epidural), and more! We wouldn’t have done a fraction of these things without Kristina (and my partner realistically wouldn’t have had the stamina to massage and use a massage gun on me for as long as Kristina did!). I’m confident that some of my experiences could have easily been traumatic, and I thank Kristina for helping to prevent that and actually allow me to walk away with a positive outlook on my labor and delivery. That in itself is worth everything when looking back at my childbirth experience… Along with the photos I never knew I wanted but will now cherish forever!! I am beyond grateful for Kristina’s compassion, knowledge, and physical/emotional strength." - Alex
“I clicked with Kristina almost immediately when speaking with her. She was funny, and easygoing and I felt at ease during our conversation. Throughout my pregnancy, she was able to provide resources for my questions and help ease my concerns about various things. During labor was when she truly shined and I honestly do not know how we would have managed without her! I never felt pressured by her and I felt like she truly listened the whole way through. She was encouraging and non-judgemental. I especially appreciated her insights when it came to needing to evaluate and make decisions on what the next steps should be throughout our labor process. This is where having an experienced doula really proved invaluable as we weren't sure of the pros and cons of options being laid out for us. She was also a great support for my husband and able to guide him to help support me given that we were both clueless.
If you're a ftm, I really recommend Kristina as your birth doula as she really helped ease my anxiety around labor. She helped solidify my decision in going with a doula and I'm happy she was able to be with us when we introduced our son into the world!” - Jackie
“Kristina is one of the best people you will ever meet and an absolute gem of a doula! Her calming presence, expert advice, and genuine care made all the difference during my pregnancy journey. She provided me and my husband with unwavering support and guidance, ensuring a positive birth experience despite many challenges. She is also an amazing photographer and we will cherish the photos she captured during labor and delivery forever. We can't thank Kristina enough and highly recommend her to any expecting parent seeking an exceptional birth doula!” Jess
